About the Author
Carolyn Brodeur is originally from Massachusetts and moved to Virginia in 2005. She is married to a wonderful husband and has one son. In college, she studied English and writing. Her dream was to one day become an author of fiction.
She grew up binge reading book series by authors such as Anne McCaffrey, Carolyn Keene, and Christopher Pike. She enjoyed sci-fi, paranormal, and mysteries, but never really found her preferred genre to write until she discovered Cozy Mysteries and started working for a Homeowners Association.
While at first cozies and HOA’s may seem incongruous, the unique dynamic of a small community that exists in its own micro-verse is the perfect setting for a cozy mystery book series. Carolyn’s works are entirely fictional but working for an HOA has given Carolyn plenty of inspiration; at times real-life even outpaces her fictional works; she can frequently be heard saying “I can’t make this stuff up.”
